Cameron Laing - Production Technology

Cameron has more than 30 years experience in the E&P business, both in the UK and internationally which has taken him from the rig floor to corporate committee rooms. After spending 18 years with Amoco, in both operations and resource development roles, he spent the next 12 years with consulting organisations, primarily working in the area of Production Technology, prior to his most recent employment at The Robert Gordon University before returning to full-time work as a consultant. He is the author of several SPE papers and is also an experienced trainer; having delivered both public and “in-house” short courses on production technology and related software packages for a variety of major operators and smaller enterprises. Key areas of experience include:

Currently Cameron runs his own company, Laing Engineering & Training Services Ltd., specialising in commercial courses on completion design, equipment, operations and artificial lift techniques and other modelling routines.
