Project / Operational Management & Support

From inception, a core business has been managing the design and operation of wells for independent operators whose business model does not necessarily incorporate a full-blown drilling department.

Project management typically includes: well design, rig selection, service tendering (equipment, personnel, logistics - including land transportation, vessels and helicopters) along with associated evaluation and recommendation. Subsequently securing necessary Legislative permitting and Government liaison, operational management, final close-out and reporting. Also included is the development of AFE costs, cost control and invoice checking throughout the operation.

Along with our associates we have considerable HPHT experience stretching back to the early 1990’s. Our MD - Robert MacAndrew has led several HPHT campaigns and is currently HPHT editor for the SPE’s Journal of Petroleum Technology.

Where a client has non-operated interests or has a 3rd party managing operations (e.g. a turnkey or “all-inclusive” contract) ADM can provide “in-house” expertise for the client to ensure contract arrangements and implementation are in the client’s best interest. In the past, ADM has proffered, and had accepted, alternative cost-reducing options to mutual benefit.
