Technical Mentoring & Competency Coaching

It is widely acknowledged within the industry that there is a serious skills shortage – that there a number of senior and experienced personnel retiring from the sector and the ravages of earlier “efficiency initiatives” have depleted our operational and technical hub. ADM is actively involved with one of our local Universities, re-modelling and delivering MSc (Masters) modules related to Wells & Drilling Technology.

For ADM, this involvement spawned the notion of a service-offering to coach / mentor Drilling & Completion Engineers to a level of competence such that they may be in a position to apply for “Chartered Petroleum Engineer” status. This will help demonstrate an Operator’s endeavour in the pursuit of personnel development toward innovation, effective and safe working practices in the business of hydrocarbon exploration & exploitation.
